Linen Yu

Hey, I am Linen. I study how AI systems behave and how society responds.

I am currently a Research Associate at Social Catalyst Lab. My work sits between AI safety, AI governance, evaluation, and the social consequences of increasingly capable systems.

Previously, I studied applied mathematics and economics at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Before that, I studied Information and Computing Science at Zhejiang University, with a minor in Economics, and was admitted through the Chinese Physics Olympiad.

Morningside Cultural China and Professor Shengchun Zhou have had a lasting influence on how I think and live.
